PCI Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) is a designation given to organisations qualified by the Payment Card Industry Security Standards Council (PCI SSC) to conduct external vulnerability scans of systems that store, process, or transmit cardholder data.

These scans are a critical component of maintaining compliance with the PCI Data Security Standard (PCI DSS), which requires regular assessments to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities that could be exploited by attackers.

An ASV performs network and application-level scans to detect potential vulnerabilities, ensuring that an organisation’s infrastructure is secure and in line with PCI DSS requirements.

The ASV then provides a detailed report, highlighting any issues that need to be addressed and offering recommendations for remediation.

Integrity360 takes the pain out of PCI compliance. We help your organisation understand which controls are applicable and which systems must be protected. And then we help uncover any security and compliance shortcomings.
